The first of the ‘ber months has arrived, and so have free tickets to the 2022 Manila International Book Fair (MIBF).
The biggest and longest running book fair in the Philippines returns on-site, as the Manila International Book Fair takes place on September 15-18, 2022, 10am to 8pm, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. This year’s co-located event will be School World, an exhibition and one-stop-shop for school-related products and services.
If you’re still expecting to pay for admission to the 2022 Manila International Book Fair, then you’re going about it the wrong way. Booksellers and publishers like Adarna House, Tahanan Books, OMF Literature, Lampara Books, and Precious Hearts Pages are giving away free tickets to the grandest bookselling event of the year.
The MIBF free passes come in the form of digital files that you’ll need to download and print. Present the free pass at the venue entrance. Each free pass admits one person. There’s no limit to the number of passes you can print and use. You may print in color or black-and-white.
Adarna House’s free admission passes are the most generous, with 8 passes per sheet.
Followed closely by Tahanan Books, which gives four passes per sheet. They give separate files for color and black-and-white prints, too, in case you didn’t know how to set your printer’s preferences.
Here are a few more free passes to the 2022 MIBF:
I can’t believe Rex Education wants you to register first before you can get a free entrance from them, but here you go:
I don’t know why National Book Store and Fully Booked still haven’t made free passes available online as of yet. I bet they’re giving away free passes in their Metro Manila branches, like they do every year. All you gotta do is ask.
